Self-Publishing Assistance Packages FAQ

Please reach us at kerry@thirtyeightfifty.com or travis@thirtyeightfifty.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

For starters, once the chosen package plan has been selected and the prepaid service fee has been paid in full, a caseworker & self-publishing assistant will be assigned to the client's case to carry out the terms of service. The caseworker will contact the client to gather the book manuscript, book cover design details, and all other pertinent information required to complete the retail-ready book, establish the self-publishing account (if the client does not already have one established), release, and promote the client's book project (if promotion is included in the service plan purchased by the client/sponsor). Once the book cover design and interior is complete, the client will be mailed one (1) paperback copy of the book for approval (hardcover copies will require the client to prepay the entire cost for the hardcopy and its shipping & handling.  Thirty-Eight Fifty, LLC will not be responsible for hardcopy books rejected by facility officials, therefore, clients wishing to receive a hardcopy of their book project need to secure proper approval from the facility from which they reside. The client will be allowed an expressed number of revisions per package plan. Once the client grants approval, the book project will move forward in processing by being released. At this point, the final service provisions will be executed and then finalized.

Yes. Thirty-Eight Fifty, LLC stands as only a self-publishing assistant in the process and waives all claims to copyrights held by its clients as a result of completed service provisions. However, if the client makes arrangements with other parties outside of Thirty-Eight Fifty, LLC regarding copyright ownership during, prior to, or after the service term has been completed, that will be strictly between the client and the party/parties whatever arrangements were made with.

Thirty-Eight Fifty, LLC is a reliable service provider with prompt, quality services. With no need to bash competitors, Thirty-Eight Fifty, LLC and its staff treat all client endeavors as though they were their own, and therefore, as a collective, provide the skills, determination, and professionalism necessary to deliver the utmost satisfaction to its clients through the selected service plans.

Anyone seeking to self-publish books on a budget, but needs help completing the process WITHOUT having to render over copyrights to their books in the process.
